Where strategy meets humanity
Communication shouldn’t be this hard.
You explain something that makes sense in the moment, but later, people are working from different understandings, questions come back, and things start to drift.
I help make communication clearer so people understand what matters and what to do next. That might be a presentation, a campaign, a team update, or how information moves across your organization.
“Things can look aligned on the surface and still feel off underneath.”
This feels familiar
You’ve already explained something, and people are still asking questions. Different teams are moving in slightly different directions, and you’re spending more time than expected clarifying, rewriting, or filling in gaps.
Nothing is completely broken, but it’s taking more effort than it should.

Where I come in
This is where I come alongside you and look at what’s actually going on, not just what’s been said or planned. I bring 20 years of experience in communications across corporate, post-secondary, and public-sector environments, including roles from frontline support to the leadership table.
That means I understand how communication actually plays out across teams, not just how it’s supposed to work on paper.
We look at how information is shared, how people make sense of it, and where things start to get stuck or misinterpreted. From there, we make practical changes that fit your day-to-day work and reduce the need for constant clarification.
I stay close to the work from start to finish, so you’re not passed back and forth or asked to repeat yourself.
How I help
People usually come to me with something specific that needs clarification, or a situation that isn’t working the way it should. We focus on what will make the biggest difference and go from there. A few options include:
Leadership communication
Clear messages that hold beyond the meeting. This might include preparing for town halls, internal updates, or key conversations so people understand what matters and what to do next.
Communication design/systems
A closer look at how information moves across your organization and where it starts to break down. This can include reviewing channels, documents, and workflows to reduce confusion and rework.
Strategic storytelling
Shaping messages so people can follow, understand, and act on them. This could be a single message, a series of updates, or something that needs to carry across teams over time.
“When things make sense, people can move.”
Working together
We focus on real situations, not hypotheticals. That might mean reviewing something you’re actively working on, talking through a conversation you need to have, or looking at how information is shared day to day. We work through it together and adjust as we go.
There’s space to ask questions, test ideas, and take the time to understand what will actually work in your environment. The goal is to create something practical that fits your team and can be used right away, without adding more complexity.

It's taking more effort than it should
If you’re spending time clarifying, rewriting, or trying to keep things aligned, there’s usually a simpler way to approach it.
We can look at what’s happening and figure out what will make things clearer and easier to carry forward.
